Tryfan is one of the best known of Wales' mountains.
The 3010 foot summit towers over Llyn Ogwen and the A5 between Capel Curig and Bethesda, and has famous twin boulders (Sion a Sian, or to the English 'Adam and Eve') which can be seen from the road.
Ascending Tryfan is right at the limit of 'Hill Walking' and it is impossible to reach the summit without using your hands. Steep paths, rocky steps and boulders need to be scrambled over right from the start up to the summit giving an exciting and exhilarating trip.
